1. Where Are You Located and Are You Willing To Travel?


We are primarily based in Brisbane and travel for weddings and engagement shoots. An additional fee of .70c per km is charged if travel is outside the 50km Brisbane Radius. For interstate couples, contact us for more details.  

2. What Are Your Pricings?


Our rates and packages vary depending on a number of contributing factors. Depending on location, wedding duration, whether it is film or photography, added extras and the number of shooters will depend on the overall package quote. For weddings outside of the Brisbane/Gold Coast region require an additional travel expense which is not included in the original Wedding Package. I can custom tailor packages for our couples as well, which I will be more than happy to do for you. 3. Do You Have A Second Photographer?


For photography, Shuwei Zhang is our primary photographer and a second shooter is available to aid in capturing the day upon request. We highly recommend a second shooter if you have us for a full day and want more coverage. This gives a better advantage to capture your wedding from multiple angles at once, resulting in more images for selection. 


4. Do You Edit All Of Our Photos?


Of course! All images are colour corrected and in addition to the hundreds of photos you will receive, depending on the package you select, your favourite 10, 20, or 25 selected images will be edited in more detail in photoshop ready for print. Images are delivered on USB in colour and black and white. 


5. Do You Do Film?


Yes of course! Using high definition cameras with gimbals for smooth motion, pro sound gear to capture every word and edited in premiere pro, we create a short film cinematic experience that will have you reliving your day forever. 


6. Do You Offer Engagement Shoots?


We do! We have options for photography and film or combine the two for the ultimate experience. With the ultimate experience we find out how you first me, when you knew she/he was the one, when he/she said yes - what was that like? We capture your moments and edit them into a ‘Your Story’ highlight that can be shared on social media, shown at your engagement party or played at your wedding. 


7. I Want To Do Something Special, Can You Capture My Proposal?


We do indeed and an honour it is to be a part of this special moment! With options in photo or film, we work alongside you from the beginning, being a support with execution of your idea through to the moment she/he says yes. We staying incognito to insure complete secrecy is upheld and with film, we mic you up so we capture every word for you both to share and relive forever. 


8. What Is Included In Your Film Packages?


With our background in film production, we create a cinematic short film that is of your life and relationship together. With the option to include a 4K Drone and depending on your package selection we cover all aspects of your day from the bride and groom prep through to bride and groom exit at the end of the night. We professionally sound record the ceremony and speeches and edit together to create a 1 minute teaser, a 4 - 5 minute highlight to share with loved ones and a full length film (depending on the hours will depend on the overall length). We package and deliver this on a USB in one of our beautiful presentation boxes. 


9. Once We Book With You, What Happens Next?


Let the fun begin! We arrange a coffee date to officially meet one another and introduce you to our team who will be working on your wedding. That’s the beauty about Alegna, you have a team of experts helping you every step of the way! We discuss and listen to how you’re going so far, what your ideal style of shots will be, the daily schedule etc. We’ll explain what we will do, we’re we’ll be and anything we require from you to help everything run as smoothly as as stress-free as possible. We are always accessible via the phone and can meet at anytime to discuss all things wedding. A week prior to the wedding, we meet once more to check in with how you are and finalise details. 


10. Do We Have A Say In The Style Of Shots?


Absolutely! All we ask is to send us your reference photos or videos and leave the rest to us. 


11. Who Has Copyright Over The Images?


In our contracts we have a “copyright release” that simply suggests that you have the rights to have your images printed by yourself or anywhere of your choosing. The rights of the images are “owned” by Alegna as the creator of the images however you have the freedom to print, post and share all images on any platform where you see fit. As a result, we too have the freedom to use your images for business promotional and marketing purposes. 


12. How Does The Album Design Process Work?


Once your images are ready for selection, we will send you an image with instructions on how to select the images you are wanting to be included in your album. From there, I design the album and send you a review within approximately 7 working days. 


13. How Long Does It Take To Receive Our Products and Photographs/Film?


Within 48 - 72 hours of your wedding you will receive a link of your colour corrected images online. Then once you have selected the number of images your package allows for more detailed editing and selection for album design it will take approximately 4 - 5 weeks to receive your products and photos. For film packages, please allow approximately 7-8 weeks.  


14. What Are Your Payment Terms and Conditions?


A non - refundable 25% deposit is required on acceptance of quote to secure your booking and wedding date. Payments can be made in four instalments, with the last instalment due 7 days prior to the day. I will send you reminders of your upcoming payments to make it easy to remember as I understand you have a lot happening at once. 


15. If I Need To Cancel My Wedding, Can I Receive A Refund?


Unfortunately, the deposit and all monies paid are non-refundable. The reason for this is as soon as you sign your agreement with us, we exclusively hold that date and give all our attention and resources to you. 


16. If Our Day Is Running Behind, Will You Stay Later Than Scheduled?


Yes! We completely understand that not all things go according to plan and may require additional time to capture everything for the day. We do cater for this with an additional fee of $150 per hour and will be invoiced to you on the following day.
